Iran ready to fix Venezuela’s power plants

Tehran, IRNA – CEO of Iran Power Plant Repairs Plant Repair Company Masoud Moradi said here on Tuesday that the Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to repair 10,000-megawatt power plant in Venezuela.

Moradi made the remarks in a press conference on the sidelines of the 22nd International Electrical Industry Exhibition in Tehran, adding that Venezuela announced the need for repairing 10,000-megawatt of power plants in its country, and a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is being signed in this field.

He continued that efforts are being made to follow up on this matter during the visit of Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Parliament) of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf to this country.

The CEO of Iran Power Plant Repairs Plant Repair Company said that Iran Power Plant Repairs Plant Repair Company is the largest company in the field of power plant repairs.

Prior to this, National Iranian Oil Engineering and Construction Company, on behalf of the National Iranian Oil and Distribution Company (NIORDC), had signed A fundamental repairs contract and the launch of PDVSA El Palito refinery in Venezuela with a sum of 110 million Euros.

The 22nd International Electricity Industry Exhibition kicked off on Sunday morning with the presence of the Minister of Energy and the participation of 372 domestic and foreign companies.
